From a relaxed family luncheon to a candlelit dinner; from an anniversary celebration to a business meeting or seminar, Friars Court is an ideal location as aside from the tranquillity that the grounds of this historic house can offer we ensure that each booking has complete, private and exclusive, access to the facilities and grounds for the duration of their stay. The Old Laundry with its large woodburner has comfortable armchairs providing seating for up to 16 guests whilst the adjacent 40 ft semi-glazed Garden Room overlooks the herbaceous borders of the back lawn.

Family Parties:

The Garden Room can seat:

• - up to 24 guests around a single large, banquet-style, table
• - up to 32 guests around four 5' round tables (which seat 8)
• - up to 48 guests around eight 6' rectangular tables (6 guests per table)

• - the rooms can also accommodate up to 80 guests for a drinks reception

The rooms are hired on an hourly basis starting from £50.00 (minimum of 4 hours). For larger parties a marquee extension off the Garden Room may be required. We are happy to recommend caterers from our list of recommended suppliers (additional kitchen hire rates may apply).

Meetings & Seminars:

The Garden Room and Old Laundry are the ideal locations for a business meeting or seminar. For groups of up to 30 people the rooms can be arranged with seating for the main meeting with additional seats and armchairs available if small, break-away, discussion groups are required.

When set up for a larger seminar or conference, the Garden Room can seat up to 60 people.

Prices for meetings and seminars are based on a per person basis and include;

• - use of all grounds and facilities
• - a projector screen
• - tea & coffee
• - a buffet lunch with a selection of savoury & sweet canapés and soft drinks

Whilst we welcome previews Friars Court is a privately-owned home so we do ask that all visits are made by appointment.
