Conditions of Booking


  • The person or company (the ‘Organiser’) who books Friars Court for a group outing is responsible for the arrangements, confirmation and payment for the visit. It is also the Organiser’s responsibility to ensure their group is fully aware of all arrangements and costs involved.
  • Friars Court is only open to pre-booked groups. Friars Court is unable to cater for individual admissions or meals unless special arrangements have been made in advance.
  • The Organiser of a group should choose one menu to be served to the whole group.
  • When booking a visit the Organiser must inform Friars Court of their:

          - visit type i.e. meal stop-over, gardens, tour etc.

          - expected numbers.

          - time of arrival and approximate time of departure.

          - meal requirements.

          - special requirements (dietary, mobility etc).

  • The Organiser must confirm the above in writing within 14 days of making the booking.
  • The Organiser must confirm the final numbers no later than 48 hours before the visit.
  • On the day of the visit Friars Court will present an invoice to the Organiser for the numbers booked. This is to be settled on the day by a single payment of either cash or cheque. Friars Court strongly advises Organisers to collect any monies from their members before the visit as the Organiser will be liable for any reduction in numbers.
